Evolve brings Blinky to Strabane for Summer Jamm 2026

Evolve brought its innovative ‘Blinky on the Move’ trailer to Strabane for this year’s popular Summer Jamm festival, where it proved a hit with visitors of all ages.

 

Fresh from an appearance at the Balmoral Show, the Evolve team, joined by Blinky, set up on Main Street for the day. Hundreds of visitors stopped by to enjoy a range of interactive attractions, including the new Blinky trailer, Bash Blinky game, Buzzwire, and the connecting pipes and people map, all designed to both inform and entertain.

 

The team also engaged with residents from Strabane and beyond, highlighting the benefits of switching from oil to gas, including instant heat and hot water, increased garden space, and the convenience of never running out. Conversations also focused on environmental advantages, including the future transition to biomethane and hitting the NI Executive’s Energy Strategy targets .

 

Summer Jamm, organised annually by Derry City and Strabane District Council, brings the town centre to life with live music, local food, and a wide range of family-friendly entertainment.
