Posted: 21 May, 2018
SGN Natural Gas will host the final information session in the latest ‘Getting Connected’ series in Ballycolman Community Centre today (Wednesday).
The sessions give Strabane residents the opportunity to find out about how to make the switch to the newest energy supply available in the town as well as learn more about the connection offers currently available to residents.
The successful information evenings have been taking place on an ongoing basis in Strabane where natural gas is now liveand available to around 1,900 homes and businesses across the town.
Today’s information event in Ballycolman provides residents with an opportunity to speak directly with a member of the SGN Natural Gas team about the benefits of natural gas which is historically the lowest priced of the commonly used fossil fuels.
Jamie Cunningham, Key Account Manager with SGN Natural Gas, encouraged residents from all areas of the town to come along today (May 23rd) between 4pm-7pm to obtain more information about connections available in their own areas and grants which are available to help them switch from their current energy supply.
He said: “Around 1,900 homes and businesses in Strabane now have access to natural gas which is the most convenient and reliable energy supply and can be topped up from £5 for households who opt to use the pay easy card.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has attended our successful information evenings to date and all those residents, businesses and commercial users who have already connected to the SGN Natural Gas network or are in the process of doing so.”
Gas Safe registered installers and suppliers will also be in attendance and the Consumer Council will be represented for independent advice on home energy issues.
