Magical Fun Day at the Alley Courtyard on Saturday

A tasty barbecue, children’s entertainment and some of the best ice-cream in town will all be part of the magic during a Fun Day at the Alley Courtyard, Strabane this Saturday.
SGN Natural Gas is hosting the free outdoor event to celebrate summer with the local community in the heart of the town centre on Saturday, June 30th from 1pm-4pm.
It’s the second Fun Day organised this month and follows a recent successful event in the picturesque Tulacorr Allotments which was enjoyed by residents from the surrounding area.
Darren Young, Head of Business Development with SGN Natural Gas, said they were really looking forward to hosting the Fun Day at the Alley Courtyard on Saturday afternoon.
He continued: “Fun Days are an ideal opportunity to celebrate summer in the heart of the local community. We were delighted with the turnout for our recent event at the Tulacorr Allotments with both the adults and children thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere.”
Encouraging families to come along again on Saturday from 1pm-4pm, Darren added: “In true summertime tradition we will have a barbecue followed by ice-cream, popular children’s entertainers, face painting and other fun activities, all compliments of SGN Natural Gas.
“With schools out for summer and the holiday season underway, we hope these events will be a welcome addition to the other popular community festivals taking place across the area. The Strabane Summer Jamm was a resounding success for the organisers last weekend and we are delighted to have been involved again as sponsors for the second consecutive year.”
